The local band Crete has been rocking lake county for three years and continues to play classic rock as well as its own original music.  Its five members Socrates Kaitson (lead guitars, vocals)  Joe Kopecky (keyboards, bass, vocals) Jon Newton (drums) Neal Anderson (rhythm Guitar)  and Steve McCarthy (bass, keyboards, guitars)  have played at venues such as Six Flags great america and Long Grove’s Strawberry Fest upcoming shows include U.S. Cellular Field and a retern performance to six Flags Great America.
